"Raw yet sleek, with an underlying sense of menace and drive rarely heard since Exile On Main Street, and unrelentingly cool".
"Texas Cannonballs are your Austin, Texas dream band".
The Texas Cannonballs
~ Hector Watt ~
"I got to know and meet him when I watched him on tour with S.R.V´s idol, UP Wilson. We have been best friends since. Then he was with Keith Ferguson (bass and founder of the Fabulous Thunderbirds) in The Solid Senders, an Austin Rock'n'roll Band. He went from there to be Lou Ann Barton's guitar player, in the Uncle John Turner Band, TXTKO with Hunt Sales (Iggy Pop), Preston Hubbard (Roomful of Blues / Fabulous Thunderbirds) and Dave Biller (Wayne Hancock / The Jazz Pharoahs)".
-Dan Herbert, Manager
~ Dave Herrero ~
If you happen to be looking for Dave, he's not difficult to find. He's playing either at Buddy Guys club, or somewhere in Austin. He is a Rock n Roller, a Bluesman…but he adds tremendous soul to the both. His guitar, his voice bleed with talent and i repeat…SOUL. He loves what he does, and man, he does it well. He has played with the likes of Archie Bell and the Drells, Buddy Guy, Gary Clark Jr and Nikki Hill to name a few.
~ Pierre Pelegrin ~
Born in Paris, Pierre moved to Austin at an early age, Pierre was introduced to Fabulous Thunderbird legend, Keith Ferguson, and took in everything Keith taught him. He then found himself on the circuit, playing every night all over Austin. He has played with Guy Forsyth, Nick Curran, Shawn Pittman, Uncle John Turner and many more.

While living in Austin during the tail end of Austin's glory years, Johnny worked, recorded and toured with several Antone's artists including Candye Kane and the Swingin' Armadillo's, Lewis Cowdrey, Guy Forsyth and Miss Lou Ann Barton. Benoit held weekly gigs at the Continental Club and Antone's with David K and the Blackouts, toured and recorded with roadhouse hero, Jesse Dayton ('X'), Texas blues powerhouse Pat Boyak (Rounder Records), songwriter favorites Albert & Gage (Boxcars) and Tish Hinajosa. Johnny can be seen and heard in the Jeff Bridges movie, "Crazy Heart". Johnny is the newest member of the Texas Cannonballs and we are very lucky to have him.
